Jefferson Valves

Jefferson have been manufacturing solenoid valves, control valves, level switches and other instruments for over 40 years.  Their valves have pilots which are interchangeable with Danfoss and Hansen pilots.

Regulating Valves

Principal characteristics

  • Cast body with flanged connections
  • Counter flanges in forged steel
  • V-plug with Teflon seat
  • Simple bonnet for an integrated pilot or connected for external pilots
  • Bonnet for multiple pilots (up to 3) integrated with the valve or combined with external pilot
  • Pressure differential range with solenoid pilot from 0,07BAR (1PSI) to 21BAR(300PSI)
  • Pressure range with constant pressure pilot from 0, 07 BAR manometric (1 PSIG) to 7 BAR (100 PSIG) Pilots available for higher pressures
  • Maximum Working Pressure: 28 bar (406 PSIG)

Pilot Valves

C – 2054 or 2054M valve with constant pressure pilot C incorporated maintains a constant upstream pressure adjustable between 0.07 and 7 BAR

D – 2054 or 2054M valve with constant pressure differential pilot D maintains a pressure differential across the valve adjustable between 0.07 and 7 BAR

S3 – Is a solenoid pilot designed to fit the 2045 and 2045M valve either as a single pilot or in conjunction with a pressure pilot

Jefferson-Level-Switch

Level Switch

Principal characteristics

  • Body of welded steel
  • Sub-assembly of rod and stainless steel 304 float, with a floating coefficient of 2. 5 with respect to the density of ammonia (the least dense refrigerants) to ensure its correct operation even when there is bubbling or foaming
  • Shock absorber to protect the float and rod from abrupt changes of level.
  • Differential of 50mm to absorb the effects of waves caused by the sudden ingress of liquid which results in the abnormal opening and closing of the supply upstream valve. If it is desired to reduce the differential, unscrew the housing and lower the two upper nuts of the rod
